Beverages in covered containers are allowed in the library. We urge you to use extreme caution, particularly with liquids containing syrup or sugar, as these products are a food source for pests.

Food of any type is not allowed in the Library. Leftover food and food wrappers attract vermin such as mice and cockroaches. Over time the eating and nesting activities of these pests cause serious damage to library property.

Please note that observance of this policy is taken very seriously by the library and security staff. If you are found in the library with food you will be asked to take it to the cafe or outside. Failure to comply with the request will result in confiscation of the food.
